The Dutchman, alias Central Seven, began his career as a deejay when he was 17 years old, working in a commercial all-round club in Holland. After 3 years playing there, he found himself a new working-place in one of the trendiest clubs in Holland. He played there every weekend week after week, until an Englishman, who started a new club in Germany, asked him to be his resident deejay. He moved to Germany and played in “The Pleasuredome” for nearly 9 years. In 2002 he became a job in one of the oldest Techno clubs in Germany called “ Bambu”.
His music-style can be described as “hands-up Party-Techno”. With show elements like the “burning turntables”, he will rock the crowd. In Germany he got the nickname of “The party animal” and anyone who has seen “C7” playing knows why……
Because of his success as a producer, Michel became/became many offers from other clubs and requests to play in other countries like in St. Petersburg (Dance Planet, Russia), Hong Kong, Singapore and Melbourne (Australia). This year Japan and Indonesia are on his schedule. Besides his approx. 130 gigs a year, you can meet him in “Docks” (Hamburg, Germany), “Ziegelei” (Gross Weeden, Germany) and “Kinki Palace, (Sinsheim, Germ, any) where he still spins as a resident deejay.
He produced and remixed about 20 to 25 songs every year for many different projects a.o. big names like; Cascada, Kate Ryan, Akira, Gigi D’agostino, Aycan, Klubbheads, Special D, Kim Leoni, Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo, Urban Cookie Collective, Brisby & Jingles, Technotronic & Deep.Spirit.
In 2007 he produced the first song under the name Crew 7, and was a cover version of the “Survivor’s” big hit “Eye of the tiger” At this point the song has been licensed out in 32 countries and has huge successes over the world with over more then 1, 5 Million official downloads. Even Nintento Wii is gonna use the song in August 2008 in a new game from “Namco”. Follow up songs are ready; “Such a shame” and “Money for nothing”; Avenue, Shawty wanna ride & Get down. Crew 7 will kick ass in 2010.
Bides his productions, he grounded in 2004, one of the fastest growing independent dance labels in Germany called “Andorfine Music”, with several smasching tracks from “Cascada” (Miracle, Bad Boy, Everytime we touch), “Cuba Club” (Cuba, I’m only shooting love, La Cumbia), “Kim Leoni” (Again, Medicine), “Crew7” (Eye of the tiger, Such a shame, Money for nothing), “Deep.Spirit” (Lonely), “Aycan” (Devil in disguise, Lambada, Seduced), “Beatheadz” (Razzia), “Akira” (Million miles from home, Piece of heaven), “Klubbheroes” (Poco Loco), “Stonie” (Torn) and United Beats (Listen feel enjoy, Por que no).
